Fall Movies in the Park
Do you love watching a new movie in the theater? What about watching a film under the stars? Visit Leland Municipal Park on Saturday, October 6, to watch a family-friendly movie for free, running from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The movie featured at this event is Sherlock Gnomes.
Pack your own popcorn, candy, and other movie-going essentials, and enjoy a fun night out with a loved one, family, and friends. Concessions will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Brunswick Forest's October Concert in the Park
Do you like to enjoy live music while supporting a worthwhile cause? Then check out Brunswick Forest's Fall Concert, featuring the band Party of 6ix and taking place on Saturday, October 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event will be in Annsdale Park and is free.
Brunswick Forest is partnering with the local non-profit Brunswick Family Assistance to put on this Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert. During the event, BFA will have a tent set up to accept donations for victims of the Hurricane Florence. Here are the items needed for donation:
- Non-perishable food
- Canned or dried soups
- Canned vegetables
- New towels
- New Sheets
- New clothing - any size
- Cleaning supplies
- Paper towels
Live at the Park Concert Series
There's never been a better time to visit Leland. Plan your trip with friends and family, and come enjoy a free fall concert at Leland Municipal Park on Thursday, November 1. The event features the Eagles tribute band Eaglewing. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.
Relax on the lawn on a cozy blanket or bring along chairs to sit and listen -- or get up and dance -- to your favorite Eagles songs. Local food trucks will also be on site, so be sure to grab a bite and a beverage before you kick back and enjoy the show.
