NC Christmas Festival & Parade Lights the Night

NC Christmas Festival & Parade Lights the Night

The North Carolina Christmas Festival & Parade in Leland, NC, will spark your holiday spirit on Saturday, December 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This year the NC Christmas Parade will put a sparkle in your eye and light up the night as floats and vehicles decorated with thousands of twinkling lights spread cheer all the way down Village Road. The NC Christmas Parade will begin at Fairview Road at 5:00 p.m. and march its way down Village Road and to Town Hall Drive.

The sparkling festivities continue after the NC Christmas Parade with the Leland Tree Lighting Ceremony and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus in their Leland workshop in Town Hall.

Local Artisans and Christmas Around the World

We hope you'll join us before we light the night, and visit the Holiday Art Market during the day on December 1 at the Leland Cultural Arts Center where local artisans will be selling unique handmade gifts. After that you won't have to travel far to experience Christmas Around the World at Leland Town Hall starting at 4:00 p.m. and presented by non-profit organizations and civic groups.

After the spectacular parade, ceremonial tree lighting, Christmas Around the World and whispering wishes to Santa and Mrs. Claus, the NC Christmas Festival & Parade will wrap up at 9:00 p.m., but the holiday cheer will still be going strong. Extend your holiday excitement at a friendly neighborhood establishment, and when you're ready to snuggle, a Leland hotel will be cozy and warm. To make your holiday is bright, book your hotel in advance.
