Town of Leland to Celebrate Birthday With Founders' Day Festival

On Saturday, September 8, the Town of Leland will celebrate its 29th birthday with the annual Founders' Day Festival.

Starting at 3 p.m. at Leland Municipal Park, this event will allow patrons to take in the sights, smells, and sounds of various fun activities. Families are invited to enjoy the thrills and excitement of the carnival rides or take in a show with live entertainment.

Check out what Leland's business vendors have to offer, and support local arts and crafts vendors. A cavalcade of food trucks will also be available. That means you can indulge any and all cravings you might have during the celebration. And don't forget to stay past sundown for the grand fireworks show.

The 2018 Founders' Day Festival is free to the public, and all ages are welcome.
