Cape Fear National
The newest golf course in the Wilmington NC area, Cape Fear National at Brunswick Forest offers 18-holes of premium public golf in a setting of unmatched beauty. Located in Brunswick Forest, the Coastal South's fastest growing community, Cape Fear National is just 10 minutes south of historic downtown Wilmington and 45 minutes north of Myrtle Beach off of US 17, making it an ideal stop for golfers on their way into or out of Myrtle Beach.
This outstanding 27 hole public golf facility, was designed by noted golf course architect Tom Jackson. A par 72 course, it features generous, Bermuda grass fairways and large, Champion Bermuda greens. The course features five sets of tees on each hole, allowing the golfer to play the course at a length that fits his or her skill level. Numerous water hazards and bunkers are strategically located to offer plenty of challenge for even the most accomplished player. The Championship Course has been the site of many outstanding tournaments including four PGA Tour qualifying events.

Compass Pointe Golf Course offers accommodations for all skill levels. Compass Pointe is considered to be one of the most unique and enjoyable courses to play in Southeastern North Carolina. The course offers scenic views and elevations that are rare to the coastal area. Golf course designer, Rick Robbins is an internationally known designer that worked with Jack Nicklaus and has designed golf courses all over the world. Mr. Robbins describes the vision for Compass Pointe as a very nice and fun amenity for the community. It features different tee boxes for each hole including family tees for children and beginners.
