Founders Park

Founders Park is Leland's first park, fittingly named in honor of those who worked to build the foundation for what Leland is today. The 8-acre park includes a disc golf course, a playground, a gazebo, a stage, picnic tables, benches, open green spaces and a paved multi-use path.

Cypress Cove Park

Encompassing nearly 30 acres of wetlands and uplands, Cypress Cove Park provides water access for kayaks, canoes, and other small boats. Additional features includes a  floating dock,a fixed-deck overlook, a handicapped accessible fishing area, and an outdoor classroom.

Westgate Park

Westgate Nature Park consists of nearly 150 acres of wetlands and uplands and a paved trail for leisurely walkers and bikers of all ages. Additional features include: an elevated boardwalk; an outdoor classroom overlooking wetlands; a state-of-the-art, nature-inspired playground; a picnic area; an event lawn; and lush landscaping. The park is currently undergoing a multiphase renovation that, once complete, will include nearly 5 miles of trails, as well as numerous overlooks and outdoor classrooms to take advantage of Leland's unique coastal wetlands.

Disc Golf Course

The Leland Disc Golf Park, located at 893 Village Road, has been one of the most requested parks and recreation amenities by the community. At just over 13 acres, the site hosts a 12-hole course that is a combination of open land and wooded area adjacent to Sturgeon Creek. It totals more than 2,900 feet in distance and features 11 par-3 holes and one par-4 hole. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
